“I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2006, when Andre came to Sacramento. Under Andre’s instruction, I have won the Pan Jiu Jitsu Championships twice, the U.S. Open five times, American Nationals once, and placed in the top eight at the World Championships. Prior to training with Andre, I have a background in wrestling, competing in high school and as a four-time varsity letter winner at UC Davis. When I am not fighting for Cia Paulista on the mat, I am spending time with my beautiful wife, Joanna, and two sons, Riley and Aidan, or fighting for the rights of abused and neglected children as an Attorney Supervisor with the Children’s Law Center of Sacramento.
